Skansen offers various dinner facilities: Solliden Restaurant (for medium-sized dinner parties), Gustavianska våningen (for smaller dinner parties), and Högloftet (which is great for rustic parties).
When it was founded in 1891, Skansen was the world's first open-air Musem. It shows the way of life in the different regions of Sweden in the pre-industrial era. And as an event venue, it offers a number of options.
When guests arrive, we can arrange for them to be greeted by traditional fiddlers and dancers. In the Solliden Restaurant, Bellman entertainment works well – we've even arranged it for EU meetings held here. Classical music, lounge jazz and the small-scale ABBA show are very suitable here.
The small, elegant Gustavianska våningen suits background guitar music, solo cello, and lounge jazz. And in the Högloftet Restaurant we have provided a choir and various band set-ups at past events, as well as company shows.
